The Pointy End…

~ We’re At It Now!!! ~

Following on from my last blog, Ben, Roland and I are most certainly at the ‘pointy end’.  With only a few days to go, it’s full steam ahead in the build up to our channel crossing this coming Friday.  I had thought I’d be a lot more organised than I am.  When in fact forgetting hooks and tying rigs is only the half of it, as there are quiet a few other things I’m going to be hard pressed to sort out before we leave.  But as said in a text to Ben earlier this week, and I quote “I’ve come to the conclusion that in the unlikely event we forget something, we have a slave with a credit card to go foraging for us.  Failing that we’ll just improvise with some Aussie bush ingenuity!”  Whether or not that reassured Ben, I’m not sure?  Oh… and sorry for the ‘slave’ reference DC.

Before I go off at a tangent, Ross Honey sent me the link to this YouTube clip from Japan, of their team being featured at WCC 2009 for the first time.  Seeing that this is the first time our Continent has ever been represented in the competition, we’re hoping that we’ll get our ugly mugs in a similar package after the event.  However, Ben and I will be filming all our antics throughout in full HD.  So after a collaborative edit we will come up with something worth watching… and maybe even with a few French carp!

Anyway, enjoy the video clip, as it gives a fantastic insight into what team CC Moore AUS will be a part of  themselves next week… whoop, whoop!!!

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie… Come On!!!

With notebooks and pens poised below, Ben and DC are in deep thought at our brainstorming session in Canterbury yesterday.

Ben, a bit of glare on your legs... you've been in Britain too long mate!

Happy hippo hunting :-)
