CC Moore To Sponsor Aussie Team
I’m very proud to be able to announce on my humble carp blog that World Carp Classic section sponsor CC Moore & Co Ltd will be sponsoring “Team Oz” – namely Ben Cook and myself! I can’t tell you how much of a confidence boost this is to us both, to have a top shelf bait company like CCM behind us. From the get go bait has been one of my biggest concerns, what brand of bait do we use, do we go for particles, do we go for boilies… decisions, decisions??? Now the worry is over, as CCM’s extensive range of baits gives us plenty of options from which to choose, that include: boilies, particles, pellets, groundbaits and spod mixes – so we have all bases covered.
In addition to this incredible news this week I have booked my flights over to the UK. A round trip that goes: Perth – Hong Kong – London – Singapore – Perth, which has turned into a bit of an adventure in itself. With my E-Tickets now printed the whole thing is gradually becoming more of a reality. Although at times I still can’t my head around the fact that in a few months Ben and I will be pitting our wits against the some of the biggest names in the business. Top gun anglers like Tim Paisley, Lee Jackson or Frank Warwick could very well be fishing in the next swim to us – it’s all down to the draw!
Ben and I are now itching to get our hands on some CCM bait and get the rods out. All going well we are hoping to have a few practice sessions in before the World Carp Classic kicks off on September 5th. This will give us an opportunity to fish together for the first time and get acquainted, as well as formulating our baiting strategy for the competition.

Happy hippo hunting

CC Moore is a very good brand not widely recognized in France but in England
Our team ‘CC Moore AUS’ is honored to be sponsored by this company in the 2010 World Carp Classic. What we are thrilled about the most is their broad range of baits, in particular particles, which are a firm favorite of both Ben Cook (team captain) and myself. We can’t wait to get to France to try their baits
Hi Niblet,
Glad to have you on board. You’ll certainly meet some of the teammembers at the wcc as we’re participating with two teams from CCM Benelux. I’ll be most happy to get you in contact with some people who might be usefull during your session and maybe give you some info on the lake.
Hi Gunther,
Thank you for your most kind offer. Neither the team captain Ben Cook, or myself have fished in France before. And being based in Australia I’ve not have the opportunity to try any of the CCM’s bait range, so any advice on the lake, baiting strategies or rigs etc will be most welcome?
Warmest regards
Niblet ~ Andy Wallis
